New World Record Bull Elk?
Has anyone heard verification of the harvest and size of this bull. If this is accurate, it will pass the famous spyder bull harvested in Utah in 2008. Here is the description forwarded to me by email: This Elk was killed with a bow in the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness (Montana ) . He green scored 575′ and should net out at about 530′ non typical. He has and unbelievable outside spread of 79′. This is the biggest bull elk ever taken with any weapon.

This bull is not from Idaho and was not killed in Idaho… I’ve seen this e-mail a thousand times. We don’t have bulls that big up in the Selway….sorry, but some people will kill animals like this and let others think that they were free ranging elk hunters. The sad truth is that these guys are canned elk hunters who shot a fenced bull…. Thanks. Thought I’d clear up the story that is not accurate.
